About South Leeds Welcome Centre
To create a welcoming, inclusive space in South Leeds where people of all ages can connect, enjoy nutritious food, and participate in activities that enhance wellbeing and community life.
Our History
South Leeds Welcome Centre was founded in August 2023 as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation with the goal of providing a welcoming space for the local community. The charity was established to bring people together, improve quality of life, and support residents of all ages through meals, activities, and community facilities.
Who it serves
Since opening, the Centre has served as a hub for the South Leeds community, offering a café, room hire, youth and senior clubs, and support for local organisations and events. We aim to create a space where people of all backgrounds can connect, socialise, and participate in activities that enhance wellbeing and community spirit.

Meet The Team

Welcome Centre Supervisor
Mandy Nuttall
Mandy has been with South Leeds Welcome Centre since its earliest days, starting as a volunteer and quickly becoming an integral part of the charity’s success. She transitioned into the role of Welcome Centre Supervisor when the charity was officially established, leading the team and supporting the community every day.

Mason has been an active volunteer at South Leeds Welcome Centre, supporting events and clubs by serving food, helping with setup and closing, and ensuring that all visitors feel welcome and valued.
