About South Leeds Welcome Centre

To create a welcoming, inclusive space in South Leeds where people of all ages can connect, enjoy nutritious food, and participate in activities that enhance wellbeing and community life.

Our History

South Leeds Welcome Centre was founded in August 2023 as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation with the goal of providing a welcoming space for the local community. The charity was established to bring people together, improve quality of life, and support residents of all ages through meals, activities, and community facilities.

Who it serves

Since opening, the Centre has served as a hub for the South Leeds community, offering a café, room hire, youth and senior clubs, and support for local organisations and events. We aim to create a space where people of all backgrounds can connect, socialise, and participate in activities that enhance wellbeing and community spirit.
